(KZN.RU, April 9). On April 27, the children's play will be held in the Kazan Theater of Young Spectator with visual description and sign language. Children with disabilities will see the play “Wild” based on the fairy tale by G. Andersen “The Ugly Duckling”. The charitable foundation “Day of Good Deeds” implements the project.
The performance will begin at 1 pm, a visual-descriptioner and a sign language interpreter will work in the hall. They will help the visually impaired and hearing impaired children understand what is happening on the stage, reports the press service of the charity foundation “Day of Good Deeds”.
The same performance will be shown on Children's Day on June 2. Also on May 26, the play “Apples of Youth” will be organized within the framework of the project.
Aigul Gornysheva, the director of the Kazan Theater of the Young Spectator, noted that there were no similar performances for children in Kazan. “Similar performances have been already staged for adults, but not for the visually and hearing impaired children. And yet childhood is the time when a person’s worldview is formed after all”, says Aigul Gornysheva.
In addition, a campaign “Take the child to the theater!” has been launched in support of the project. Thus, buying a ticket for yourself, you can buy one or more extra ones for children from low-income families and children with disabilities until April 26. Purchased tickets must be left in a charity box at the theater box office or, in the case of buying tickets on the theater website, send them to email@example.com.
