Young Kazan citizens are invited to the Children's University “Science in Full View”

(KZN.RU, March 19). The KNRTU-KKHTI opened a Children's University “Science in Full View” in Kazan. Curious and active children will be able to get acquainted with the world of science and ask questions to scientists. Anyone from 5 to 14 years old can become a university student.

Education at the Children's University is aimed at disclosing the abilities and capabilities of the individual, developing students' interest in engineering specialties. Children can “enroll” in one of three faculties: “Human”, “Nature”, and “Technology”. Young students are offered active participation in intellectual competitions and Olympiads. The lesson is conducted not only by teachers, but also by university students and students of the KNRTU School for gifted children with an in-depth study of chemistry.

The format of the project allows taking on learning of everyone. According to experts, education at children's universities contributes to the dedication of school subjects and an increase in school performance.

Despite the fact that students are not evaluated, they will have real training and the opportunity to show their knowledge in practice. Thus, the first event of the Children’s University was the Olympiad in Mathematics for schoolchildren of grades 1-6. More than 100 people took part in it.

Not only children, but also their parents will be able to study. The Parent Club opens on the basis of the university where parents will learn how to talk about complex phenomena in a simple and understandable language for children.

To become participants of the project “Science in Full View”, you must fill out an application and send it by e-mail to kstu.du@mail.ru. You can download the application form and more information on the project regulations on the website.
