Battles of the two world wars will be reconstructed in Kazan

(KZN.RU, August 2). On August 3 and 4, the interregional military-historical festival "East – West: Russian wars" will be held in Kazan on the territory of the National museum of Tatarstan. Everyone will be able to visit the event.

On August 3, the theme of the festival will be the era of the Patriotic war of 1812. The guests will see a soldier's bivouac, where the scenes from the camp life of the early XIX century will be played, get acquainted with the traditions of duels. A ball will be held in the halls of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, a master-class on dancing and ballroom entertainment will be held, the songs and romances will be performed. The main event of the day will be the reconstruction of the Napoleonic campaign in the courtyard of the museum.

The second day of the festival – August 4 – will be dedicated to the Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945. The songs of the war years will be performed, a master-class on the production of parcels fighter to the front will be held in the halls of the museum. Also the show of retro fashion and dance program in the style of the 1940s will be pleased the guests of the event.

As part of the festival, an educational interactive site "School of a young fighter" will work in the courtyard of the museum, where the participants will be able to get in touch with the peculiarities of military affairs.

The key event of the day will be the reconstruction "We are eager to the border. August 1944..." from the military-historical clubs with recreated equipment of various branches of the red army and the Wehrmacht.

In the halls of the museum there will be the exhibitions dedicated to the Patriotic wars of Russia: "the Storm of the twelfth year", "the Great Unknown war" and "Tatarstan during the Great Patriotic war", as well as there will be the fair of folk arts and crafts, and much more.

The opening ceremony of the festival will be held on August 3 at 12.10 in the courtyard of the museum. The opening will be preceded by a theatrical prologue on the square on May 1, the beginning of the event will be at 12.00, as the press-service of the National museum of Tatarstan informs.
