Another street cinema opens in Kazan

(KZN.RU, July 2). In July, a free screening of films and animated films begins on the summer site of one of the Kazan shopping centers. Films for viewers over 16 years old will be shown on Thursdays, and Sundays – for children.

Every Thursday, an arthouse and short films, thematic almanacs, meetings with film critics, a discussion documentary are organized for the audience. All films will be presented in the original language with Russian subtitles. The first film screening is scheduled for July 4. Spectators will see a unique program “Stars in Shorts” from the collection of the festival distributor. This evening you can watch such films as “No” by Ivan Petukhov, “Bribe” by Alexey Kharitonov, “In a Foreign Land” by Mikhail Chernykh, “Casting” by Vlada Makeichik, and “Ricochet” by Timur Dzhuraev.

The target audience for Sunday will be young movie lovers. The event cycle will be implemented in conjunction with the festival “Zero Plus”. On July 7, the children will be shown the short animated films “The Flying Boy” and “The Bug That Has No Name”, as well as the film “Falling Up”. On July 14, children and their parents will be able to see the Gothic tale consisting of three short stories “The Way of Grass Growing”. On July 21, the film “Lullabies of the World” and the teenage film “Blue Eagle and the Pink Whale” will be presented in a street cinema, and on July 28, there will be the short film “The First Thunder” and the magical story “The Order of Things”.

Film screenings will be held on Thursdays and Sundays at 9 pm on the summer site near the shopping center at Pobedy Prospect, №141. The entrance is free, reports the organizer of the event “Time of Cinema”.

In the summer, weekly free film screenings take place on the embankment of Kaban Lake, in Pobedy Park and “Krylya Sovetov” in Kazan.
