(KZN.RU, May 28). The transition to digital broadcasting in Tatarstan and its capital was postponed from June 3 to October 14.
The RT, along with 57 regions of Russia, is entering the third, the last stage of digitalization. In May, the Government of Russia postponed the transition for 21 constituent entities of the RF on October 14. After considering the appeal of Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, to the Government of the RF, it was decided to include the RT in this list.
The postponement in Tatarstan is associated with the holding of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr on June 4. The schedule is changed to take into account the interests of the population. At the same time, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the RF assesses the readiness of Tatarstan to switch to digital broadcasting as high, reports the press service of the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the RT.
218 volunteers were trained to help residents set up new equipment in preparation for the transition to digital TV broadcasting in Kazan. You can contact them through the United Federal Information Center at: 8 (800) 220-20-02. In addition, detailed instructions on the switch can be found on the portal KZN.RU.
In the transition to digital television, compensation is provided for low-income residents of Tatarstan up to 1 thousand rubles for the purchase of digital consoles and antennas. The list of privileged categories of citizens includes large families and families raising disabled children with an average per capita income below the subsistence minimum; lonely pensioners over 70 years old with an average per capita income of less than 20 thousand rubles a month; disabled people living alone with an average per capita income of less than 20 thousand rubles a month.
